Frequently asked Questions

I don’t have Pro Tools can you still mix my song?

L
K

Yes. Any DAW is fine as long as you export and label your files correctly and follow the delivery instructions.

What if I only want a mix (no master) does it save money?

L
K

My mix includes a master at no extra charge, so the price is the same either way.

What if I want multiple songs mixed?

L
K

Purchase multiple slots (same tier or different tiers). Each song is treated as its own order. At the moment I don’t offer bulk discounts.

Can I send files another way besides Wetransfer, Google Drive or Dropbox?

L
K

Right now I only accept files via Wetransfer, Google Drive or Dropbox so nothing gets lost and I can keep everything organized.

How long will it take to get my completed song?

L
K

Typical turnaround is about 3-5 days (workload permitting). Rush delivery may be available for an extra fee mention it in your notes when you book.

Will you move my hooks / rearrange my song?

L
K

No. Please send your vocals arranged exactly where they should be. My service is mixing/mastering, not editing or arrangement.

Are there effects that cost extra?

L
K

Usually no. Extra charges can apply if the request is highly detailed/time-consuming (manual timing, complex automation, “every 3rd word” style delays, etc.).
A good rule: if you want a specific effect on specific words/phrases, put those parts on their own track/layer before exporting.

I recorded to a YouTube rip, then bought the beat later - what happens?

L
K

The purchased beat often has different timing than the YouTube version, which can make your vocals land off-beat.
To avoid issues:

  • Re-record to the purchased beat, or align your vocals to the purchased beat before exporting.

  • If files arrive misaligned and require significant correction, a remix/editing fee may apply (I’ll confirm before doing extra work).

What are the return policies?

L
K

Please see the terms and conditions / refund policy.

If I say “make me sound like [x artist],” does that help?

L
K

References help, but please be specific about what you want (example: “warm vocal,” “telephone effect,” “heavy autotune,” “wide doubles,” “long delays in the hook”). If you leave it up to my ears, you’re approving my creative judgment.

Does my equipment and room treatment matter?

L
K

Yes. Recording quality affects the final mix. Use the quietest space you can, minimize background noise, and focus on a clean recording first (even a closet with clothes can help reduce reflections).

I have a deep voice - can you make me sound like a high-voice artist?

L
K

I can shape tone and add effects, but I can’t completely change your natural voice into someone else’s. The closer your performance is to the vibe you want, the closer the final result will be.
